Ulverston Art House is running an exhibition in September/October called ‘Colourful’. For this exhibition we want to see how you explore the theme of ‘Colourful’ in your work. Digital images of Paintings, photography, poems or 3D work can be included for submission.

‘Colourful’ is an open call for artists to submit up to 3 images that meet the theme of ‘Colourful’ for this exhibition.

Send your submissions to submissions@ulverstonarthouse.co.uk; maximum of 3 images per exhibition.

If your work is selected for the exhibition there will be a participation fee of £35 for a single piece and a discounted fee of £20 for any additional work, which includes printing, framing, gallery curating and all marketing.

We want to see work from both emerging and established artists both domestic and international. You do not need to be a professional to participate as we wish to provide a platform making art accessible for everyone.

All work will be displayed in printed format during the exhibition period and available for sale as prints. Artists can provide links to their original material and alternative venues of sales such as etsy or personal websites.

If you are selected to participate you will be notified by email. Available space is always a limiting factor so we encourage unsuccessful participants to try again for future exhibitions.

‘Colourful’ The Exhibition

All art work will be printed in house using fine art ink and material then framed for display using our own frames, providing a most effective low cost entry to exhibit.

Prints will be printed to 16×12 inches or 12×12 depending on image. These will be available for sale during the exhibition, and at any time subsequently via the website, from £20 per print. Your image can also be used for other goods by negotiation, for example: mugs, coasters etc.

Commission charges for first sale for each artist will be 5% and then UAH work on a commission basis of 35% of all sales thereafter.

Sales are not guaranteed. While UAH will promote the exhibition in all ways available, it is suggested that all participants use their own social media presence to increase the potential to reach a greater audience.

Ulverston Art House is situated in the market town of Ulverston, South Lakes, The English Lake District and borders the spectacular Furness Peninsula.
